As an Offshore Wind Energy Analyst at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), Patrick Duffy is focused on developing tools and analysis to better understand offshore wind energy cost and technology trends. This includes supporting government agencies and state grid planning efforts with floating offshore wind technology cost and feasibility studies and market reports. Prior to joining NREL, Patrick graduated from the European Wind Energy Master joint program at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) with MSc degrees in Wind Energy and Aerospace Engineering. He has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Seattle University.
