Opened in 1979, the Baltimore Convention Center boasts 300,000 square feet of exhibition space, 50 meeting rooms, and an expansive multi-use ballroom. Conveniently located in the heart of the Mid-Atlantic region, the Convention Center is located less than 15 minutes from Baltimore-Washington International Airport and 10 minutes from Penn Station (Amtrak).

A GBAC STAR™ FACILITY

The Baltimore Convention Center is a Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) Star Facility. The Convention Center received their GBAC ™ accreditation for facilities in September 2020. GBAC STAR™ is the cleaning industry’s only outbreak prevention, response, and recovery accreditation for facilities. This accreditation means that the Convention Center has cleaning, disinfecting, and work practices in place to combat biohazards and infectious disease. All staff have been trained in outbreak and infectious disease preparation and response.
