Workshop: Modern Manufacturing: Using New Technologies to Reduce Offshore Wind Construction Costs

Jason Cotrell is the Founder and CEO of RCAM Technologies, Inc. which is a rapidly growing international cleantech startup dedicated to developing advanced concrete manufacturing technologies and components for renewable energy and subsea energy storage systems. Jason has been working in renewable energy since the mid 90’s. He worked twenty-two years at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colorado where he was a senior engineer and manager of the fifteen-person Wind Turbine Technology and Innovation Group before starting RCAM Technologies in 2017.  Jason has a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado. Jason has received a variety of professional awards in his career. Most recently, Jason accepted the 2021 BNOW Ventus Innovation of the Year Award on behalf of RCAM for its modular concrete fixed-bottom foundation.
