Elizabeth “Liz” Kretovic joined the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) as the Director, Business Development Offshore Wind North America in April 2022. She joined ABS following her time as the Mid-Atlantic Marine Affairs Manager at Ørsted Offshore NA, where she led maritime stakeholder engagement activities for the Mid-Atlantic projects. Prior to joining Orsted, Liz retired from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Commissioned Officer Corps, where she obtained the rank of Captain. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Safety and Environmental Protection and a Master of Science in Maritime Business Management from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy. She and her husband Brian are avid golfers and reside in Washington, D.C.
