The Ventus Gala is a black-tie event in Washington D.C. where preeminent industry leaders, supporters, and advocates gather to celebrate the global offshore wind industry’s accomplishments as well as honor the year’s Ventus Awards recipients – companies and individuals who are setting a path to move the offshore wind industry forward with their innovative, collaborative, and groundbreaking work.
Significance of the Ventus Awards
The Network’s Ventus Awards are named after what is essential to the work we do: wind. It also refers to the Venti, or Roman Gods for wind – each with their own directional power from north, south, east and west. These awards honor those people, companies and organizations that embody the powerful force of wind to set the industry on course for new and better future, be it products, programs, or technology that allow us to harness wind to better lives of those around us through clean energy, a safer environment, and innovative jobs.
