The Manager-Environmental will lead a team supporting the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) Project. The CVOW Project includes the development of a proposed 176 turbine wind generating facility off the coast of Virginia and an onshore electric transmission interconnection. The team leads environmental permitting for the CVOW Project including both the Offshore infrastructure and the onshore Electric Transmission infrastructure.
The candidate must have experience obtaining local, state and federal permits for large infrastructure projects. Direct experience with National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) permitting, renewable generation projects and experience with projects in the context of marine activities is preferred. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
Please note: This position can be based out of downtown Richmond or one of Dominion Energy’s Tidewater offices (Hampton, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake)
Corporate relocation is available for candidates who meet program eligibility requirements.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Significant, directly-related experience, 10 or more years (Note: A Master’s degree will count as one year of experience. A partial year of six months or more will be rounded up to one year);
Advanced knowledge of the federal, state, and local environmental regulations specific to the media supported;
