Title: Director of Administration

Jen Hess joined the Network in 2018 and serves as the director of Administration. She manages the Network’s human resources and administration, including employee recruitment, benefits, and training. She also provides administrative support for finance and management operations.
Prior to joining the Network, she worked at HUMANIM, a social impact organization in Maryland, for 15 years, where she grew to become the director of Administration Services. While there, she supervised nine administration assistants and worked closely with the board of directors. Jen also wrote policies and planned events for that she implements and continues to develop today.
Jen received a B.A. in Business Administration from Stevenson University. She has a passion for learning new things and acquiring new skills–a reason why she loves working at the Network. The forward-thinking nature of the Network allows Jen to explore various areas of business administration and human resources, such as understanding trademark and copyright law.
Jen and her family often spend their afternoons on her boat to enjoy lunch or just a night out when the weather is nice. When she isn’t enjoying the lake, she loves watching her son play soccer.
