Hunter Stephenson is an Associate for Events and Programs at the Business Network. He initially joined the organization as an intern in 2020 and quickly joined the team full time, where he supports the Network’s weekly Offshore Wind 101 webinars, Foundation 2 Blade trainings, education grant deliverables, and more.
Previous to joining the Network, Hunter interned at the Maine Composites Alliance (MCA), a nonprofit comprised of multiple Maine-based composite businesses that work together to promote state leadership in the international composite industry. While at MCA, Hunter was able to further develop his market research and project management skills.
Hunter has a B.S. in Law and Society from American University with a minor in Information Systems and Technology. During university, he became more aware of the many climate issues facing the world, which later influenced his desire to work at the Business Network. He also participated in a studying abroad at the American University of Rome. His goal is to pursue a Master’s degree in Environmental Policy while continuing his work in the offshore wind industry.
Raised in Maine, Hunter has a love for the outdoors. When he’s not working, you can find him at a football game (though his love for the Patriots is an outside opinion at the Network.) Some of his other passions include cooking and taking his dog Jasper on hikes.
