POSITION SUMMARY
The Vice President for Federal Affairs will lead the Oceantic Network’s engagement with federal government entities, policymakers, industry stakeholders, and strategic partners to help advance offshore wind and other ocean-based renewable energy developments and their related supply chains. The Vice President for Federal Affairs will work to position the Network as a trusted information source regarding market development, supply chain development, and technological advancement before policymakers and stakeholders, and forge strategic partnerships to advance critical policy or regulatory updates. The Vice President for Federal Affairs will serve the Network’s members by leveraging their expertise and experience, and ensuring the Network’s membership base is well represented and well informed regarding potential federal actions. To achieve these goals, the Vice President will work closely with other members of the policy department, and collaboratively across other departments including communications, events, and membership. This executive role requires a blend of strategic thinking, policy expertise, and a deep understanding of the renewable energy landscape, especially offshore wind and other ocean-based renewable energy.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Oceantic Network is hiring for a newly created position to project manage and lead the
implementation of our 5-year project funded grants by the Maryland Energy Administration. This role is designed to manage our grant deliverables to elevate public awareness and provide education about offshore wind renewable energy through experiential learning, training companies who want to enter the market, and development of national models. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of recruiting local businesses interested in entering the ocean renewables supply chain and will serve as the lead program staff on all mid-Atlantic programmatic issues. This individual will represent the Network at local and national events, assist with fundraising, and play a key role in business participation in the OSW Experience Hub. The role is committed to tirelessly promoting the development of offshore wind (OSW) and ocean renewables in the mid-Atlantic, including conducting grassroots organizing and stakeholder engagement. This is a unique opportunity to drive meaningful change in renewable energy adoption and to position our organization at the forefront of the offshore wind industry.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Policy Director will join a strong policy team working to advance offshore wind in the United States by playing a flexible role – at times serving as a key stakeholder manager or a subject matter policy expert, and other times as an industry and public sector convener or key team member drafting regulatory correspondence. The Regional Policy Director will likely have a role building upon the employee’s strengthens that incorporates either a geographic and/or subject matter jurisdiction. The employee should be comfortable working directly with policymakers and stakeholders, have an understanding and experience bringing coalitions or collaborative efforts, an understanding of renewable energy politics and policies, and a willingness to work within an evolving job description and portfolio. Finally, the employee should be a strong writer, successful public speakers, and able to work independently but understand the importance of working collaboratively across the organization and keeping teammates always informed.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Network is hiring for a newly created position to lead our expansion of the offshore wind market and its supply chain on the West Coast. In conjunction with senior staff members, this position is responsible for designing, developing, and coordinating the Network’s West Coast Offshore Wind (and other ocean renewable energies) organizational strategy with a focus on California, Oregon, Washington and Hawaii. To promote and support the deployment of offshore wind, you will represent the organization; build upon existing and develop new relationships with a variety of public and private sector stakeholders; recruit and support Oceantic members; advise and coordinate a communications, engagement, and policy strategy; and coordinate planning and executing Network events and activities. This role must be aware of, and consistently monitor, industry-related activities and trends. While primarily a policy and stakeholder related position, the individual will be required to work across many departments to ensure proper organizational coordination.
