Stephen Wilson has been working in offshore wind since 2004. Through his roles at installation contractor DeepOcean and Soil Machine Dynamics, he became experienced in subsea cables installation and subsea technology. Stephen had a key role in the development of the wind industry from 2004-2012 as Director of Wind and Marine at what is now the Offshore Renewables Energy Catapult (OREC). Stephen established OREC as a supplier of testing services to the wind turbine developers and was part of the team that secured £80m investment in the facilities we see in Blyth today. Stephen ensures EPI has strong relationships with wind developers, EPIC, and survey contractors. He leads the global strategy for growth in the survey contractor’s sector.
