Ruth Marsh, Principal Engineer for Offshore Wind at DNV, brings over two decades of experience across all phases of the wind energy project lifecycle to her role as a highly skilled Project Manager dedicated to navigating complex projects and delivering successful outcomes for clients. She has led and executed turbine conceptual design studies, aeroelastic loads analysis, blade design, energy assessment, life-cycle engineering and economic analyses. Ruth has conducted independent engineering for wind project financing, project certification in Denmark, managed the loads modeling team for a major US wind turbine manufacturer, and served on the leadership team at Makani Technologies, and Alphabet company pioneering offshore wind kites. Ruth regularly shares her wealth of wind industry knowledge by leading offshore wind training and speaking at seminars and conferences. She holds an MS in Aero/Astro from Stanford and a BSME from MIT, as well as PMP certification.
