Workshop: Lessons Learned: A Look at Union Partnerships and Local Workforce Development for Offshore Wind Projects
My career started as an apprentice in 1972. After 45 years moving up through the ranks, I spent my last 10 years as the Business Manager of Local 37 Ironworkers in Providence R.I. Those years culminated with overseeing the advocating, training and dispatching of some members to the Block Island Wind Farm. Upon retirement from Local 37 in 2017 I was hired
as an advisor to our international union pertaining to offshore wind.
