Biography

Workshop: Engaging West Coast Fisheries Stakeholders to Ensure Floating Offshore Wind Success

Rebecca Green is a senior scientist and project leader at National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) where she focuses on offshore wind (OSW) energy related activities. She leads research activities across a range of ocean environmental, multi-use, fisheries, and feasibility studies associated with OSW development. She has worked in the marine sciences for over twenty-five years, performing research across U.S. regions. She received her Ph.D. in Biological Oceanography from the M.I.T./Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Joint Program and B.S. degree from the California Institute of Technology (CalTech).
