Mikkel Maehlisen is an experienced leader within the wind industry and has been developing and leading operational organizations in several different parts of the world over the last twenty-four years.

Mikkel is serving out of Boston, MA as Ørsted’s VP of Operations Region Americas and is currently overseeing multiple offshore wind projects throughout the Northern East Coast.

His main goal is to create and develop the local strategy to build out the organization to operate 4+ GW of offshore wind within the next few years by preparing the organization to act on the local commitment and risk manage the investment and secure the generating revenue.
