Julia Bovey has worked to build renewable energy projects and policy from three perspectives: advocacy, government and project development. She currently leads external affairs for Eversource’s offshore wind portfolio, including projects in construction and development in New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. Prior to joining Eversource, she developed three offshore wind projects for Equinor in New York and led federal policy for US wind power pioneer First Wind. Julia began work on offshore wind in 2004, when she left a fifteen-year career in journalism to join the Conservation Law Foundation, where she advanced public support and regulatory policy for New England’s first clean energy projects, as well as utility reform, cleaner transportation and energy efficiency.
