Biography

Workshop: From Uncrewed to Autonomous: A New Reality for Offshore Wind Survey

Jonathan is a Renewable Energy Specialist with the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement. He has been working for the renewable program under the Office of the Director since May of 2021, performing various roles, including plan review, program development, monitoring of offshore activity, and enforcement. He has been with the Bureau since 2015, first serving as an oil and gas production inspector in the New Orleans District (field office). Four years later he moved to the Gulf of Mexico Regional Office, serving as an inspection coordinator where he was a team member focused on continuous improvement of the inspection and enforcement program for the Regional Offices and evaluating the performance of all five district offices.

Prior to joining the Bureau, he served in the United States Coast Guard, where he served as a Port State Control Examiner, Pollution Investigator and Responder, and Exercise Coordinator.

He is a Certified Safety Professional with an undergraduate in Business Administration and is pursuing an Executive MBA in Energy from the University of Oklahoma.
