Biography

Workshop: A Review of Facility Design / Fabrication & Installation Reports for Offshore Wind Facilities

Graham Cranston is the Market Manager for DNV Renewables Certification US, focusing on the Project Certification of Offshore Wind Projects in the United States. For projects located in Federal Waters, this is referred to as Certified Verification Agent (CVA) and is a Federally Regulated role overseen by BOEM/BSEE. As such, Graham is the primary contact towards BOEM/BSEE when acting as CVA. He also serves as a Project Manager and Structural Engineer on several CVA projects in the US. He is also the co-chair of the recently published ACP OCRP-1 and a member of the ACP Offshore Wind Subcommittee. Prior to joining DNV Renewables Certification in 2020, Graham was a consulting structural engineer delivering new design, failure investigation, condition assessment, and peer review, with a focus on energy projects.

Graham holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from the University of Waterloo. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, Minnesota, and Vermont, and a licensed Structural Engineer in Hawaii.
