Workshop: The Future of Wind Turbine Digital Twins

Dr. Ampea Karikari-Boateng leads the Offshore Digitization team at Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, the UK’s leading technology innovation and research center for offshore renewables. Ampea’s role encompasses developing digital tools and services and supporting SMEs in the development and implementation of digital tools on digital twin platforms. In his previous role, he also focused on applying A.I. to develop monitoring systems for wind turbines. Ampea has over ten years’ experience in the offshore renewable energy sector and holds a Master of Engineering in mechanical engineering from Queen Mary University of London, and a Doctor of Engineering in Offshore Renewable Energy from the University of Edinburgh.
