Workshop: Maintaining Debris-Free Floating Mooring & Cable Lines to Protect Wildlife & Equipment
Dr. Desray Reeb is a Marine Biologist in the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management’s (BOEM) Pacific Office’s Environmental Analysis Section. In this position, Dr. Reeb is tasked with understanding and assessing the potential impacts of offshore conventional and renewable energy, and marine mineral activities, on marine mammals and sea turtles. Through BOEM’s Environmental Studies Program, Dr. Reeb identifies and coordinates studies to address program-related data needs. Dr. Reeb has been working in the marine mammal field on different species in various parts of the world for over twenty-five years, with a particular interest in right whales.
