Byron Cooper is President and CEO at North Shore Steel headquartered in Houston, Texas. Byron has strategic responsibility for five steel businesses (North Shore Steel, Ford Steel, Greens Bayou Pipe Mill, Bayou Processing & Storage, and BDM Coil Coaters) that provide steel distribution, value-added processing, and heavy fabrication for many industries in North America. Byron and his team are building strategic relationships and investing in new business locations and capabilities to provide steel distribution, processing, and fabrication to the growing U.S. offshore wind market. Byron has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Millsaps College, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center, and a Master of Business Administration from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University.
