Biography

Workshop: Modern Manufacturing: Using New Technologies to Reduce Offshore Wind Construction Costs 

Bryan O’Neil is the Director, Global Offshore & Power Generation Industry Segments for The Lincoln Electric Company, headquartered in Cleveland Ohio. He has more than twenty-seven years of heavy fabrication industry supply chain and manufacturing experience across the segments of energy, oil, and gas. He is Lincoln Electric’s subject matter expert (SME) on welding fabrication in these segments and is responsible for the development and future use of additive manufacturing to meet the offshore wind industry’s growing needs for fixed and floating foundations. In his current role he is directly involved with Lincoln businesses and industry partners around the world working to meet the installed capacity targets for 2035 and beyond. Bryan presently serves as a board member on the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) and represents Lincoln Electric within the IPF organization. He holds a B.S. in Welding Engineering from The Ohio State University and AAS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from SUNY Broome.
